Boyle Software is a custom software development company based in New York City. Founded in 1988 in Munich Germany by Dan Boyle, the privately-held company now employs dozens of front-end and back-end developers, systems and information architects and all-around computer experts. Evolving with the times and technologies, Boyle Software has enjoyed twenty straight profitable years, and looks forward to the next twenty with enthusiasm.

| 1990 | Based in Munich Germany, our first major US Government client comes on board - Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty. |
| 1992 | Expanding into Europe, we land NATO as a client. |
| 1995 | Boyle Software moves its headquarters to New York and starts working for US commercial clients directly, such as Columbia House. |
| 1996 | We expand into the Financial Services market with international banking clients such as Nomura Global Securities. |
| 1997 | We expand our Media and Entertainment client base with some major music labels, including Warner Brothers and Sony Music. |
| 1998 | With a staff of fifty and multi-million dollar revenues, Boyle Software celebrates ten years of business, technology and evolution. |
| 1999 | We purchase and renovate our own 8,000 sq ft office loft in Chelsea. |
| 2000 | Boyle Software continues to grow, adding major clients like Sony, Best Buy and Bertelsmann. |
| 2001 | In reaction to the technology bubble correction, we adjust our staff, expenses and services, which allows us to remain profitable throughout the downturn. |
| 2003 | Morgan Stanley contracts with Boyle Software for a significant, multi-year development project. |
| 2004 | Boyle Software continues to attract new clients in other industries and re-grow the staff. |
| 2005 | Now also offering custom hosted services, Boyle Software's main business continues to be custom development for all of our long-standing Entertainment and Financial clients. |
| 2006 | Boyle Software continues to grow, increasing revenue over last year, despite Dan Boyle's sabbatical to swim the English Channel. |
| 2007 | Boyle Software continues to land new clients, including AOL, Bank of America and Citibank. |
| 2008 | Boyle Software celebrates twenty years of fun, family, friendship and a rich history of custom software development. |
| 2009 | Despite the global economic slowdown, we continue to "design, develop and deliver" for old and new clients, such as MTV, the Prostate Cancer Education Council and Wellness Foundry. |

1994 Netscape releases a beta version of its first web browser, called Mosaic. A year later, Microsoft releases Internet Explorer 1.0.
1999 Y2K: because of its archaic structure, the NYC subway is considered to be the safest place in the country on New Year's Eve.
2001 Homer Simpson's catch phrase "D'oh!", which he uses whenever he has done something stupid, is added to the Oxford English Dictionary.
2007 Two of the greatest filmmakers, Michelangelo Antonioni and Ingmar Bergman, pass away on the same day, July 30th.
