Boyle Software is working closely with Hearst Entertainment's King Features Syndicate on the newest Popeye animated film promotion, the first 3D CGI Popeye animated film. The film will premier on TV in November 2004 and will be an immediate sell-thru DVD.
With famous voices, e.g. Kathy Bates, and the latest animation technologies from Mainframe, the new Popeye promises to be engaging on many levels. The web site and promotion campaigns surrounding the film will be equally engaging and interactive, targeting several audiences: children, teenagers and adults alike.
Technologies for this account include Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Perl, Apache, MySQL, MPEG, QuickTime and XML.

It is also a worldwide leader in merchandising and licensing. The formation of the world's largest syndicate dates back almost as far as the birth of comics, one of America's few indigenous art forms (along with jazz and quilting.)
