In a fruitful co-operation with The Apartment, owner Stefan Boublil and Boyle Software designed and created two new websites for the restless Soho design store. Focusing on the variety of The Apartment’s design services the new main website has links to the store site as well as to the new theaptlife.com showroom.The latter gives people insight into the activities of The Good People of The Apartment.
“Stefan and I have a similar approach to design, I think,” says designer Uwe Kristen. “Subtle white and grey go hand in hand with loud pink and orange. There is never the need to walk along a dead end road of either/or.”
The site is built in XHTML and CSS. Streaming videos and lots of picture slide shows give the visitors enough to sit down with a cup of tea and look around.
